In the newly released trailer for episode 155, which is titled “Mitsuki’s Rainy Day,” the Team 7 member is tending to his cat – Mikatsuki. The cat takes him to a man who appears to be injured.

He decides to help the man. Later, he becomes friends with Mikatsuki and Mitsuki. However, he says in the promo that they weren’t meant to cross paths.

“Yes, it was raining that night. Mikatsuki led me to him. And it was the first time we met. His name, where he came from if he is bad or not. All that didn’t matter in the beginning. Mikatsuki took a liking to him as well. But maybe we weren’t meant to meet, after all,” Mitsuki says in the preview trailer.

In episode 154 of the anime, Himawari, Boruto’s sister, gets a chance to attend a one-day training course at a ninja academy. Since she belongs to the Hyuga clan, people assume that she will become a shinobi.

By attending the course, she will get an idea of what it feels to be a shinobi. Meanwhile, Himawari is excited about attending the course. At the academy, she is joined by two other participants – Yuina Itomaki and Ehou Norimaki.

“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 155 was scheduled to air Sunday (May 3). However, due to coronavirus pandemic, the anime is set to go on a hiatus indefinitely. The team will announce the release airdate at a later date.

The official website released a statement confirming the delay. “Thank you for supporting Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Due to the declaration of a State of Emergency for COVID-19 by the Japanese government, the production schedule for new episodes of the program has been impacted. As a result, we will change the broadcast/streaming schedule for newer episodes,” read the statement via Crunchyroll.
