New episodes of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” are airing after a two-month break because of the coronavirus pandemic. The network has released Episode 155 of the series and a trailer for Episode 156.

The next episode revolves around Chouchou and her mission to solve a peculiar case. “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 156 is likely a light-hearted installment before the show dives into the much-awaited Kara Actuation Arc.

In the preview trailer, Chouchou is showcasing her powers. “In my Super Chouchou Butterfly Mode’s slim form, am I not the epitome of charm?” she asks.

However, she reveals that she powers down whenever she uses this particular technique. Chouchou adds that she cannot stay in this form for long.

She vows to master her Super Chouchou Butterfly mode. Towards the end of the trailer, she admits that if she stays like this, she will just be stuck being a “cute maiden.”

The preview trailer hints that she and Anko are following someone and they are ambushed by a group of thugs.

Apart from the trailer, “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 156 gets a summary, which is featured in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine’s Issue #31.

“ All the sweetness using azuki beans (red beans) will be sold out? Chouchou, who encountered an abnormal situation at the sweet shop, will collaborate with Anko to challenge the case.”

Episode 157 marks the beginning of the Kara Actuation Arc, which takes Boruto, Sasuke, Mitsuki, Sai, and others on a mission to the Country Valley.

The cast of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” anime includes Yuuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, Ryuuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Akira Ishida as Gaara, Hidenori Takahashi as Konohamaru Sarutobi, Shoutarou Morikubo as Shikamaru Nara and Nana Mizuki as Hinata Hyuuga.
