The Seventh Hokage, Naruto, is keeping a close watch on Kawaki and figuring out his connections with Kara. In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 194, Kawaki and Boruto start to live under one roof. Meanwhile, Kawaki seems to be opening up to Naruto and Hinata because of their caring nature.

But Boruto remains upset after Kawaki broke Himawari's flower vase that she had handcrafted for Hinata. The official preview trailer for the upcoming episode shows Boruto and Kawaki fighting with each other over trivial issues. Boruto still cannot believe Naruto could let Kawaki live with them.

In the last episode, Naruto calls for a high-level meeting to address the Kawaki crisis. During the meeting, Katasuke reveals that his team detected nano-sized Scientific Ninja Tools all over Kawaki's body. The scientists believe the tools are affecting his cells. Due to super rapid cellular division, Kawaki can expand his body parts as well as soften or harden them.

Katasuke recalls how Kawaki remodeled part of his right arm into a big spear-like weapon and attacked the opponent.

He also mentions the Karma mark on his body and how its mysterious nature remains a matter of investigation. Interestingly, Boruto shares the same Karma mark on his body, indicating his deep connection with Kawaki.
