Brad Pitt was fine with running into Jennifer Aniston at the Golden Globes.

Pitt and Aniston’s fans were hoping that they would run into each other at the award ceremony. They wanted new photos of the exes together. However, they didn’t get what they wanted, but the “Ad Astra” actor said it would be fine with him to run into Aniston at the event.

“Everybody is waiting, they are hoping for this moment where you and Jennifer will run into each other so they can take their pictures,” the Entertainment Today anchor said.

“I’ll run into Jen, she’s a good friend,” Pitt then responded while laughing. “It’s the second most important reunion of her year,” the actor added while mentioning the speculations that he would be part of the reunion of “Friends.”

Meanwhile, one fan asked on Twitter, “Why do we still want them to get back together?” Another responded, “I don’t know but still want to.”

Pitt won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture award for his performance in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” However, many noticed that he snubbed his kids with Angelina Jolie in his acceptance speech by not mentioning them.

According to Us Weekly, Pitt and Aniston attended Netflix’s Golden Globes afterparty at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. However, the exes appeared to have avoided each other since they didn’t mingle with each other at the celebration. They even kept their distance by staying in different areas of the venue.

Aniston left the event with her close pal Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. Following the “Friends” alum’s departure, Pitt reportedly exited the celebration, too. Pitt and Aniston were later seen chatting at the CAA after-party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood.

An insider revealed earlier that Pitt and Aniston’s Golden Globes reunion would not be tense or awkward because they have been good friends for some time now. Also, it wasn’t the first time they’ll run into each other years after they separated.

Last year, Pitt was present at Aniston’s 50th birthday bash. He was also among the “Cake” star’s guests during her holiday party days before Christmas.
