A video going viral on the internet showed a man dancing with two reticulated pythons on his shoulder. The internet users were left in awe of the man's bravery because the constrictors, even though non-venomous, are so massive that they can easily swallow an adult human whole.

The video, which was shared on Instagram by World_of_Snakes, gathered over 45,000 likes and hundreds of comments from awestruck viewers. The viral clip showed the man dancing while balancing two pythons on his shoulders.

Take a look below:

Reticulated pythons can grow from 10 feet to 20 feet in length and are known to be the largest of their kind in the world. They can weigh anywhere between 150 – 320 pounds, possibly even more.

The snakes are found in sub-Saharan Africa, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia, south-eastern Pakistan, southern China, the Philippines, and Australia.

In several countries, pythons are hunted for their skin which is used in traditional medicine, and are also sold as pets.

Reticulated pythons can blend well with the forest floors and leaf litters due to the coloration of their skin which displays brown blotches. The snakes are fantastic swimmers and need water bodies near their habitats. They forage for food in the ponds.

The giant snakes chiefly feed on mammals but also occasionally prey on various birds. Like all pythons, reticulated pythons are ambush predators, according to Reptile World Facts.

After being shared online, concerned social media users asked whether the man had gone nuts. "Is he tired of living," one person commented. "People be playing with their lives," wrote another.

"Hopefully they are enjoying it as you are," one comment read, highlighting how the stunt might be uncomfortable for the reptiles. "Think he superman with a mask on and can do anything," a viewer said in the comments section. "You must be eaten by it one day," a person said.
