Actress Brittany Murphy died of a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication, the Los Angeles County coroner's office said Thursday.

The death of the 32-year-old actress was ruled an accident. Murphy's primary cause of death was community acquired pneumonia, coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey said, CNN reported.

The coroner's office said Murphy went into cardiac arrest because of drug intake.

A full autopsy report would be available in two weeks, coroner officials said.

Murphy, who appeared in the 1995 movie Clueless with Alicia Silverstone, died on December 20. She suffered a cardiac arrest at her home in Los Angeles and was pronounced dead two hours later at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The actress is survived by her husband, screenwriter Simon Monjack.
