Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare update 1.11 went live hours after PlayStation Spain leaked evidence of the Blood Anvil Mission Team, but that specific piece of content still isn’t live yet. In a reddit post, Activision support referenced a slight delay in the rollout.

While it’s easy to assume the feature simply isn’t ready for primetime, there are several indicators that it’s very close. Not only can Blood Anvil emblems be viewed in the emblem inventory, but also, the game’s own PC patch notes mention Blood Anvil’s inclusion in Tuesday's download. The changelog has since been updated to say “not live just yet.” This is the exact phrase used by Activision support.

We’d imagine Blood Anvil will go live over the next few hours, but its exclusion from yesterday afternoon’s launch is interesting nonetheless. Typically when an update goes live all of its features are instantly available to use. However, because this is the series’ first-ever Mission Team debut, its release may work a bit differently than what fans are used to.

The Blood Anvil Mission Team brings some Russian flair to Infinite Warfare with emblems based on Soviet design and challenges focused on kill counts. The content has been known since January, and it will likely be in public hands very soon.

Keeping promises made last month, Infinite Warfare update 1.11 did indeed include support for custom emblems and 20 new prestige ranks. Those ranks offer extra XP, ammo, special rank icons and other perks. There’s also a fairly small round of bug fixes too.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
