"Call of Duty: Vanguard" is still a few days away from its official release, but its 20-minute Zombies mode gameplay has already surfaced online, along with an image of its physical copy.

A now-deleted tweet from a "CoD" insider who goes by the name TheMW2Ghost revealed the PS5 physical copy of Activision's upcoming title "Call of Duty: Vanguard." The tweet showed the game's official logo with the PS5 header.

The supposed leaked physical copy of the game appears to be the standard edition. Aside from the image of the game's physical copy, a Reddit user also shared on the social news aggregation site the 20-minute footage of the game's Zombies mode.

The video provides the most comprehensive look at the new mode since it was revealed by game developer Treyarch in October. Treyarch said last month that the game's Zombies mode is the first crossover and the forerunner of "Black Ops Cold War" Zombies.

Treyarch revealed the game's Zombies mode would introduce players to a brand new cast of characters. This includes "the sinister Oberführer Von List, demonologist Gabriel Krafft, and several Dark Aether entities that have entered into a pact with humans to achieve their own mysterious goals.”

The Zombies mode was set in 1944 and "shifts the focus of the Dark Aether story to the disturbing occult activities carried out by the Third Reich during WWII. This is a completely new tonal direction for Call of Duty Zombies, and one that offers plenty of opportunities for new gameplay and storytelling experiences in Vanguard,” the game developer noted.

As for the mode's gameplay, the game developer shared, "The gameplay of “Der Anfang” blends fan-favorite Zombies elements with fast-paced, objective-based action, ensuring there’s never a dull moment as you and your fellow Special Forces operatives fight to survive the undead. From the war-torn battlements of Stalingrad to the classic setting of Shi No Numa in Japan, your squad will face the undead threat on every front."

This year's "Call of Duty" installment is scheduled to release Friday officially. It will be available on previous generation gaming consoles' PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, PC via Battle.net and new-generation consoles' PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
