Camilla Parker Bowles could not be more excited to see her new grandchild with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

During her royal engagement in Cuba, the Duchess of Cornwall had a brief conversation with a group of American tourists that asked her about the Duchess of Sussex’s pregnancy. Mimi Ricketts, 50, shared details about her conversation with the royal.

“I said, ‘Are you excited about the new baby about to arrive in your family?’ and she said yes she was,” Ricketts said.

However, Camilla is not the only member of the British clan who is excited to meet the latest addition to their family. Following Kensington Palace’s pregnancy announcement in October 2018, it was revealed that Prince Charles was also delighted with the news.

But the future King also has some concerns regarding his grandchildren. After all, he believes that the world has become quite polluted, damaged, and destroyed. While in Ghana, the Duke of Cornwall discussed his fears for the future.

“I am about to have another grandchild actually. I suspect quite a few of you may have grandchildren or will do soon… It does seem to me insanity if we are going to bequeath this completely polluted, damaged, and destroyed the world to them,” he said.

Meanwhile, Markle and Prince Harry are waiting for their baby’s arrival sometime at the end of April or the beginning of May. However, there are some rumors suggesting that the Duchess of Sussex may give birth much earlier than expected.

As such, royal fans have become concerned about Markle’s decision to continue working. Even before announcing that she’s on maternity leave, the “Suits” alum already unveiled her schedule after her short break from royal duties.

A source told Vanity Fair that Markle will attend a charity event in October, which will be held in London. This revelation suggests that Markle’s maternity leave will also last 6 months just like Kate Middleton.
