“Captain American: Civil War” star Sebastian Stan has nabbed a new role! Instead of Captain America's (Chris Evans) friend Bucky Barnes and brainwashed assassin Winter Soldier, this time Stan will be playing a NASCAR driver in “Logan Lucky.”

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news Wednesday, Aug. 31 that Stan has signed on for Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming NASCAR heist movie. The 34-year-old Romanian-American actor is set to take on the role of a three-time racing champion making a comeback in the NASCAR scene after taking a long hiatus from the sport.

Stan is just the latest actor to join “Logan Lucky’s” star-studded roster, which includes Daniel Craig, Channing Tatum, Katherine Heigl, Hilary Swank, Adam Driver, Riley Keough, Seth MacFarlane and Katherine Waterston.

“Logan Lucky,” which serves as Soderbergh’s big-screen comeback after his three-year break, focuses on a heist at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

4. “Black Panther”

There’s no confirmation yet whether or not Stan’s Winter Soldier will be awake in the upcoming “Black Panther” movie. However, when he was asked if his character might make an appearance in the film, he told Comicbook.com, “I don't know, man. I mean, there's obviously a very clear answer but I'm not maybe say it, now (sic). Where did he end up at the end of the movie? That's the movie he should be in. I feel like that would be the natural... But I don't know.”

If Stan does appear in the movie, he will star alongside Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o and Michael B. Jordan. “Black Panther” is slated to hit theaters Feb. 16, 2018.
