“The Catch” Season 2, episode 10 will serve as a Tommy/Mockingbird (T.R. Knight) episode.

In the finale, fittingly titled “Mockingbird,” Alice Vaughn (Mireille Enos) and Ben Jones (Peter Krause) will be forced to face their pasts. While doing so, a shocking betrayal will change everything for them both personally and professionally. In the previous episode, Margot (Sonya Walger) came face-to-face with Mockingbird, and she was shocked to know that he and Alice’s brother, Tommy, is one and the same.

As it turned out, Tommy has been keeping so many things from Alice. He also cannot be trusted because he’s been working with the bad guys. By the looks of it, Alice and Ben will find out the truth about Tommy, aka Mockingbird, and this information may come from someone the couple does not particularly like and trust: Margot.

Elsewhere in the episode, Alice will reunite with her ex-boyfriend, Ethan (Warren Christie). In episode 9, Ethan told Alice that they could no longer work together because he still has feelings for her. Alice, who was obviously shocked and happy by what she heard, would ask Ethan in the finale episode why he still had to tell her the truth. In the promo released by ABC, Ethan and Alice are standing very close to each other. It seems as though the two will share a kiss. This could cause a huge problem because Alice is already engaged to Ben.

Additionally, Margot will struggle with the fact that her ex-girlfriend, Felicity (Shivani Ghai), kidnapped her teenage daughter, Tessa (Philippa Coulthard). In the clip, Margot urges Felicity to not hurt Tessa. If she does so, Margot will fight back. Felicity tells Margot that she won’t hurt Tessa just as long as Margot will do as she is told. Luckily for Margot, Tessa is well-trained and knowledgeable when it comes to defending herself. It is possible that she will be able to manipulate Felicity into letting her go.

The final scene from the clip hints at a possible character death. When Margot finally gets a hold of Felicity, she points a gun straight to Margot’s brother, Rhys’ (John Simm), chest. Felicity says goodbye to Rhys before shooting him, and the clip blacks out. It is unclear whether or not Rhys will be killed off. It’s possible that before Felicity could shoot him, someone from Alice and Ben’s corner already shot Felicity.

While the final episode for “The Catch” Season 2 will air on Thursday, May 11, ABC still hasn’t made a decision regarding the show’s renewal. According to Variety, the network heads will be making their final decision on shows such as “The Catch” before May 15. However, it seems that the Enos-starrer will be making the cut. The publication included “The Catch” amongst its list of mostly dead TV show from ABC. Two other shows mentioned are “Imaginary Mary” and “Secrets and Lies.” TV Line also listed down all of the shows from ABC and claimed that the renewal of “The Catch” Season 3 could be a long shot.
