Charlize Theron shared a rare throwback photo of herself with her daughter, Jackson, on the set of "Mad Max."

Almost a week after Mother’s Day, Theron took to Instagram to share a snap of her cuddling her daughter while filming “Mad Max.” In the snap, Theron is still in her costume with full body makeup. She is in her character as Furiosa, but at the same time, a mom to Jackson.

“I became a mom right before we started shooting. At least my child will forever have the fun fact of “I spent most of the first year of my life in a war rig” (special appearance by my incredible costumer Inge Hough),” Theron wrote in the caption.

Theron covered Jackson’s face with a heart emoji. Nevertheless, her fans still appreciate the photo because it shows what kind of mom she is.

“I love See You as a mommy it's the most beautiful, Your soul and heart it's the best of You I Love You so Much,” one fan commented.

“You amazing woman love your movies,” another added.

“You’re a great mommy,” a different online user opined.

Meanwhile, the director of “Mad Max” has already confirmed that they are about to work a prequel and it will focus on Theron’s character, Furiosa. Unfortunately, it will have a new lead actress because the story will focus on a young Furiousa. Thus, the need for a younger actress.

Director George Miller said they are looking for an actress in her 20s to take over the role. He also warned the star who might be selected that she has a big shoes to fill.

Miller didn’t want to drop Theron from the project. In fact, he confessed that they considered using technology to make the actress appear younger for the film, but resigned to the idea.

“For the longest time, I thought we could just use CG de-aging on Charlize, but I don’t think we’re nearly there yet,” Miller said.

Theron has personalized Furiosa. Originally, the character has long hair and and African mud art on her face. She was supposed to have another costume too. It was Theron who suggested to go bald and gave Furiosa an androgynous and grounded character.
