Several girls on social media have accused actor and comedian Chris D’ Elia, 40, of sexual misconduct. The actor played Henderson, a pedophile, in Netflix’s thriller series "You."

It all started with Twitter user Simone Rossi, who goes by the name @girlpowertbh on the platform, releasing a string of screenshots Tuesday (June 15) representing a conversation between herself and a person who appears to be D’Elia.

"I still can’t believe Netflix cast Chris D’Elia as the pedophile in Season 2 of “You” like the literal IRONY," Rossi tweeted.

Rossi said she was only 16 when D’Elia approached her on Twitter. She posted screengrabs from her e-mails in the following thread, where he asked her to send her a picture and she replied with a panda’s photo. In another e-mail, D’Elia asked if she was up for meeting him that night.

"Imagine being 16 and being groomed by a stand-up comedian twice ur age and the only reason you never met up and never got physically m*lested was because u had just gotten a boyfriend ur own age," Rossi wrote.

Under the belief she was “not the only one” to be groomed by D’Elia as an underage girl, Rossie said she felt the need to open up. "For the longest time I thought this was just a funny story to tell at parties when I realized what happened isn’t normal and that he was and could still be doing this to younger girls and it’s my job to say something," she wrote in a follow-up tweet.

Rossi’s tweet went viral and a handful of others joined her with similar allegations against D’Elia, many of whom did it anonymously. A user accused the comedian of exposing himself to hotel staff. "Fun fact about Chris D'elia: When he stayed at my hotel two years ago, he called for help with his AC unit and then exposed himself to the woman who went to help. Then he tried to get her to come back to the room," the message in the tweet read.

In a short period of time, more and more reactions started pouring in.

Soon, the allegations formed a huge storm on Twitter against D’Elia. "This Chris D'Elia shit is wild, but I guess it's always the first person you suspect," screenwriter Django Gold tweeted. "Chris D'Elia played a pedophile on both Workaholics and You. Now he's being exposed on twitter as one. He typecast himself as himself," other user wrote.
