Chrissy Teigen is pregnant again two years after suffering a pregnancy loss.

Teigen and her husband, John Legend, are having a rainbow baby. The expectant mom uploaded snaps of her growing baby bump on Instagram to share the good news Wednesday.

"The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. [One] billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!), we have another on the way," she wrote in the caption.

The model shared that she conditioned herself every appointment that "if it's healthy today, I'll announce." However, she still waited to hear her baby's heartbeat before announcing her pregnancy because she's too nervous about it.

"I don't think I'll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves, but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful, and I'm feeling hopeful and amazing," she continued. "Ok, phew, it's been very hard keeping this in for so long!"

The comment section of Teigen's post got flooded with congratulatory messages from other celebrities and fans who have been following her pregnancy journey and loss.

In August 2020, the "Chrissy's Court" star had the biggest surprise in her life when she discovered she was pregnant. In a series of tweets, she admitted that she didn't expect to conceive naturally, but while doing her routine pregnancy test before a breast procedure, she learned that she was positive.

"A few weeks after surgery, I took a test. And for many years now, I've taken pregnancy tests almost every month, praying to see a positive one day. Just wishful thinking. I never had a positive before," she continued.

She added that the experience made her realize life had a "way of surprising people when they give up on trying."

Nearly two months after announcing her pregnancy, Teigen got hospitalized due to complications. She later took to social media to announce her grief following the loss of their son, Jack.

In a post on Instagram, she shared snaps of them with her husband while in the hospital. She delivered the baby, but he didn't survive "despite bags and bags of blood transfusion."

"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we've never felt before," she wrote in the caption.

She also included a message for her son, whom they called "my belly Jack."

"To our Jack - I'm so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn't give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you."

The "Lip Sync Battle" co-host and the "All of Me" singer are parents to daughter Luna, 5, and son Miles, 3. In February, Teigen said that she was pursuing in vitro fertilization to conceive another baby, Us Weekly reported.
