Christina Anstead wants to officially end her marriage to ex-husband Ant Anstead as she filed for divorce six weeks after they announced their separation.

Christina filed the paperwork at a courthouse in Orange County, California on Tuesday, Us Weekly reported. No other details about the filing have been disclosed. Christina and Ant share 1-year-old Hudson London.

A day before Christina's divorce filing was reported, Ant shared exciting news to his followers on Instagram. He said he is leaving "Wheeler Dealers" but has three new shows.

"Some EXCITING NEWS! My time on Wheeler Dealers has come to an end as the show heads back to the UK," he wrote.

"I proudly hand the spanner’s over to the legend that is @f1elvis and I remain home in California to embark on THREE new TV shows (watch this space for the top secret news coming soon). Thank you all those car fans (and non car fans) for the years of support and banter! I am incredibly proud of what we achieved! It’s been a ride. Check out my story for the video catch up! X."

Ant's announcement received mixed responses from his followers. Many were excited about his new shows while some were sad that he would no longer be part of "Wheeler Dealers" because they loved him on the show.

"After being forced to watch ‘Wheeler Dealers’ by my partner it was you who actually made it enjoyable and you were always a firm favourite in our house!" one commented.

"That seriously sucks.. Nothing against Elvis as I enjoyed him on ‘Wheeler Dealer: Dream Car’ but will miss you on the show Ant!" another wrote.

"Good luck, you will be missed! You and Mike have great chemistry!" a different fan added.

"You’ll be missed Ant, you’ve been fantastic on WD, but I can understand you wanting to stay in California with your family. I’m looking forward to your new shows, and your occasional appearances on WD," another fan wrote hoping to still see Ant on "Wheeler Dealers."

Following their separation, Ant enrolled in a five-week breakup recovery program to move on from the pain of his split from Christina. He announced his involvement in the program in his Instagram Story.

Christina and Ant announced their split in September, three months before their supposed second wedding anniversary.
