“I Bet” singer Ciara slammed rumors she is pregnant. The R&B singer and her boyfriend, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, took a chastity vow and are not expecting a baby together, she said in an interview on WKYS, Washington, Tuesday.

When she was asked if she was an expectant mother the singer simply said, “Of course not,” OK! magazine reported. Part of what got the rumor mill churning is that Ciara’s typically taut tummy, complete with six-pack abs, seemed more like a burgeoning baby bump during a video from her performance in Las Vegas Friday.

The “1, 2 Step” star explained she must have eaten before she took the stage. “You know it’s so funny, I might have had a cheeseburger a little too close to show time,” she said. “What’s funny is that I’ve learned after pregnancy your body changes differently. Listen I can have a salad and it’ll be like ‘aww junk!’ It [my stomach] was not that big, they exaggerated that.”

Ciara, 29, added she is sticking to a healthy diet and has not gained any weight. “There are other photos from that night where you see how it really was,” she said. “I’m not carrying anything in my belly but good food.”

Seahawks fans might be happy to hear the singer is not pregnant with Wilson’s child since some believe she cursed the Seahawks. The team has severely underperformed this season. It is in third place in the NFC West, with two wins and four losses. The next game is a must-win. The Seahawks will take on the San Francisco 49ers, currently in last place in the division, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, Thursday at 8:25 p.m. EDT on CBS.
