“The 100” fans had to say goodbye to not one but two beloved characters at the end of the Season 5 finale, but they may meet them again in Season 6.

While their friends entered a cryosleep, Monty (Christopher Larkin) and Harper (Chelsey Reist) decided against it and chose to live out the rest of their lives together on the spaceship. The two lived long and grew old together before their deaths were revealed at the end of the episode.

That doesn’t necessarily mean fans have seen the last of the characters, though.

International Business Times asked “The 100” star Eliza Taylor (Clarke) and creator Jason Rothenberg about the possibility of seeing Monty and Harper return to the CW show via flashbacks, and they didn’t rule it out.

“I hope so. Jason is the only one who knows this stuff, but I don’t see why not,” Taylor told IBT at New York Comic Con in October. “We’ve got these lovely actors, and if they’re around and available, it would be great to do some flashbacks to what happened in the ring while we were all in cryo or stuff like that.”

Rothenberg teased: “It’s always possible that we can see people that have left the show.”

As “The 100” was recently renewed for a Season 7, there’s plenty of time for Larkin and Reist’s characters to show up. Whether it’ll actually happen or not, though, is something fans will just have to tune in on Tuesdays on The CW at 9 p.m. EDT to find out.
