K-drama fans are rejoicing anew following “Crash Landing on You” star Son Ye-Jin’s pregnancy announcement Monday on Instagram.

“Today, I want to carefully share some joyful news, a new life has come to us,” the 40-year-old actress began her post in Korean as translated to English by Soompi. “I’m still a bit dazed, but I am feeling changes in my body every day with concern and excitement. as thankful as I am, I also feel that much cautious, so I haven’t even told anyone around me yet. Before it gets later, I am sharing this news with fans and acquaintances who must have been waiting as much as us,” she added.

“We will make sure to protect the valuable life that has come to us. I hope all of you will also protect what is valuable in your lives and live in good health. Be happy,” the actress concluded her post.

Son and her "Crash Landing on You" co-star Hyun Bin, 39, tied the knot in March, the actor revealed on his management agency’s official Instagram page.

"It’s true. I have made the important decision of marriage and am cautiously taking steps toward the second stage of my life," the actor wrote at the time as per Soompi. "I have made this promise with the woman who always makes me laugh (Son Ye Jin): to always walk together in the days that lie ahead."

Fans could not contain their excitement for the future parents who are affectionately dubbed by some as the “couple of the century.”

A fan tweeted, "‘Couple of the Century’ #HyunBin and #SonYejin have confirmed that they are expecting their first baby! Congratulations to the future parents!”

“Congratulations! Hyun Bin and Son Yejin!! It’s going to be the prettiest baby,” another supporter wrote alongside a photo of a woman crying.

Meanwhile, one fan reminisced on Hyun Bin’s earlier thoughts about family and raising children and wrote, “No doubt he will be the best daddy to his child/children. He will live up to this dream of a beautiful and a happy family.”

The South Korean actress first worked with her future husband in the film "The Negotiation" in 2018. The following year, they starred in the Netflix international hit drama, "Crash Landing on You." The addictive drama followed the story of a South Korean heiress and her secret romance with a high-ranking North Korean military officer played by Hyun Bin.
