The cast of “Dance Moms” took some time away from shooting Season 5 of their hit Lifetime series to attend the 2015 Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday. The series, which was nominated for favorite reality show, walked away with the win.

“Dance Moms” choreographer Abby Lee Miller was present to accept the award. She was joined by her students and co-stars Sia music video star Maddie Ziegler, 12; Mackenzie Ziegler, 10; Nia Frazier, 13; Kalani Hilliker, 14; and Abby Lee Dance Company newcomer JoJo Siwa, 11. Despite former “Dance Moms” star Chloe Lukasiak being present at the show, the 13-year-old did not join her past teammates on stage.

After their win was announced by “Pixels” stars Adam Sandler and Josh Gaad, Abby and the dance company girls rushed onto the stage -- dancing a little along the way -- to accept their win.

“Thank you. This is unbelievable,” Miller said while holding her Nickelodeon blimp award. “We win a trophy every single weekend, but this means so, so much to all of you.”

Miller used her moment in the spotlight to speak out against her critics and Lifetime.

To those of you who think I’m really mean, the kids get it. They get it,” Miller said. “I just want to say, Lifetime, [you say] you’re not a children’s network and we are not a kid’s choice, just took around. Look at these kids,” she said, motioning to the children in the audience cheering for the show’s win.

“Dance Moms” was up against five other shows in the favorite reality show category. Also nominated were “MasterChef Junior,” “American Ninja Warrior,” “Cupcake Wars,” “Shark Tank” and “Wipeout.”
