Charlie Cox, who recently appeared in "Spider-Man: No Way Home," opened up about his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

"I don’t want to sound greedy, but I hope I get to do loads more," Cox told Australian site Supanova on Monday about his character Daredevil. "I don’t know what their plans are, but yes, my hope is that I get to do as much as I’m allowed to do, and to be involved," he added.

Cox noted that one of the best parts about appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is that he will get to interact with other characters in the same universe, which was not possible with his Netflix series, "Daredevil."

"And it’d be really fun, the one thing that being in the MCU allows that we couldn’t really do with the Netflix stuff, is that I can now interact with other MCU characters," he said. "So, that would be really cool."

The 39-year-old actor shared that he is also looking forward to doing crossovers with other MCU characters. However, he didn't name any superhero that he would like to work with in the upcoming projects.

"Crossovers is the thing I would like to do next," he said. "I don’t know what that looks like, and I don’t know what they’re planning and all that kind of stuff. But there are some really interesting stories there that I’d love for the character to explore."

Considering that Netflix's "Daredevil" content was violent and brutal, it would be interesting to watch the character transition into a PG-13 friendly movie or series for MCU.

Cox is currently filming an action-thriller TV series, "Treason," which is slated to release on Netflix. The six-part series will also feature Olga Kurylenko and Oona Chaplin.

Marvel, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of a bunch of movies this year including "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," which will be a follow-up story of "Spider-Man: No Way Home."

This year, fans will be treated with two more Marvel movies: "Thor: Love and Thunder" and "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever." If you have missed the list of Marvel movies releasing in 2022 and 2023, you can check it out here.
