David Beckham and his brood will spend Christmas at home in London. The retired soccer player said he and his family are like any normal family who are traditional and like to spend festivities at their home. He was speaking to Colin Paterson during an interview on “BBC Breakfast” Monday.

The soccer legend revealed exactly what the Beckham Christmas is like. David and his designer wife Victoria try and make Christmas magical for their four kids. “I think like every other person’s Christmas - it will be very normal. We open presents, we enjoy ourselves, we have a traditional Christmas dinner,” he said.

David has a conventional outlook on the special day. He said that the family spends Christmas in London as it is home. Besides, all their family are also in London and so Christmas is very traditional.

He gushed about his wife and said that it is easy to buy presents for Victoria. The power couple, who has been married for 16 years, is known to treat each other with lavish gifts. David said that he knows Victoria so well that he knows exactly what to buy for her. He knows the simple things she likes and enjoys, so he admitted that it is not difficult to buy presents for her.

The family got into the festive fervor for some time now. David took to Instagram and shared a picture with their new pet Olive wearing a festive cap. Victoria also took to Instagram and shared a picture of a drawing by their daughter Harper. The four-year-old tot made an angel Christmas card.

The former footballer talked in a lighter vein about his teen son Brooklyn. David said that his 16-year-old son is stealing the spotlight from him on Instagram. He joked that now is literally known as Brooklyn’s dad. The star recently revealed his kids Brooklyn, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 10, and Harper, four, will one day accompany him on his eye-opening charity trips abroad.
