She is still having a hard time forgetting how much her loved ones all betrayed her when they believed Gabi’s scheme and thought she was going crazy. However, Abigail may begin to have a change of heart where Chad is concerned after Kate tries convincing her to forgive the man she loves on the Wednesday, Jan. 16 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Abigail (Kate Mansi) has been struggling to forgive everyone who she felt betrayed her, which included Chad (Billy Flynn), her mother, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and her brother, JJ (Casey Moss), because they all believed Gabi (Camila Banus) when she lied and claimed Abigail’s DID was back. Since then on the NBC soap, there has been some progress made with her family thanks to Chad orchestrating a dinner for them, and Abigail has admitted that she does want to work things out with him again as well. However, she doesn’t know if she can get past the betrayal, especially with how he treated their daughter Charlotte when he thought she was Stefan’s (Tyler Christopher).

Now, one of the last people Abigail will want to see or discuss things with will try to make an attempt at convincing her to forgive the man she loves. Kate (Lauren Koslow) also lied that the DID was back, and Chad has since decided he wants nothing to do with her. Now, as she tries to make peace with him again, she will try to give him what he wants most in the world—Abigail's forgiveness.

Of course, Kate may be the last person Abigail wants to hear from or listen to, but if she makes a good point, then it could be what the couple needs to eventually reunite and find their way back to one another again.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
