She has done the unthinkable by marrying her own recently returned from the dead brother so she can gain control of the family company while still disguised as Nicole. However, with Gabi also eligible for the spot, Kristen may be forced to up her game once again on the Friday, August 2 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After successfully framing Stefan (Brandon Barash) for kidnapping Ted (Gilles Marini) and Kate (Lauren Koslow), Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) knew the CEO position at DiMera was once again up for grabs. However, since she is also ineligible for the role due to her own criminal activities on the NBC soap, she needed to get the job while still disguised as Nicole (Arianne Zucker)--something that would only work if “Nicole” was a DiMera. As a result, she managed to do the unthinkable by marrying Tony (Thaao Penghlis), which is a shock for everyone since he was presumed dead for so long. However, she wasn't the only woman to marry a DiMera with an eye on the CEO position, as Gabi and Stefan also quickly wed. Now, with both women eligible for the spot, the competition will be on to emerge successfully.

“Gabi and ‘Nicole’ battle over the DiMera CEO position,” spoilers reveal.

The decision will likely come down to who Mr. Shin feels is best for the job, but if he picks Gabi, Kristen will realize that she needs to do whatever she can to ensure she eventually proves successful with all of her plans—even though it may mean being even riskier than ever before.

“Kristen decides she must take drastic measures to get what she wants,” spoilers reveal.

If she feels looping Gabi in with Stefan’s alleged crimes—and taking them one step further—is the way to go, it could mean that one of her previous partners will once again be in her line of focus—Ted (Gilles Marini).

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
