Days of Our Lives
Jack (Matthew Ashford) is convinced to make a big move on the Jan. 22, 2019 episode of “Days of Our Lives.” NBC

She has been working to manipulate him however she can as a means of hurting Jennifer. Now, as she continues her plot for revenge, Eve will try to convince Jack to make a bold move on the Tuesday, Jan. 22 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Since bringing him back to Salem on New Year’s, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) has been desperate to do whatever it took to keep Jack (Matthew Ashford) from remembering anything about his past so she can continue to use him in a bid to cause Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) pain. She hasn’t had a lot of success because others in town have been informing him about other moments from his past, but, for now, he hasn’t reunited with his former wife. As a result, Eve still believes she has a chance at eventually convincing him to marry her and be with her—but she needs more ammunition if she’s going to keep him from repeating his past.

As a result, she will decide to give him a push as he starts looking for a job in Salem, and she will likely design her new plot in a way that keeps him from his past as a reporter.

“Eve encourages Jack to make a bold career move,” spoilers for the NBC soap reveal.

While she could have her sights set on something big, her biggest goal will be to keep him away from The Spectator, where Jen also works. If he begins a job there it will mean he is in close contact with her every day, and their love story could blossom all over again. As a result, Eve will do whatever it takes to convince him to stay away from there—even if it means making Jack go for a job no one would ever expect him to have.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
