He escaped prison after learning he would be executed for his sister’s murder but has since turned himself back in to spare Ciara any trouble for harboring him while he was on the run. Now, with the date of his execution arriving, Ben will be prepared to deal with his fate on the Thursday, Feb. 27 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After learning his last appeal had been denied and he was set for execution in three weeks' time, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) escaped from prison with Clyde’s (James Reed) help on the NBC soap. However, his freedom didn’t last long, as Rafe (Galen Gering) quickly found him and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) at the DiMera gatehouse. Ciara was then taken in and facing charges for harboring a fugitive, which Ben couldn’t stomach, so he came back and turned himself in.

Now, the day of his execution has arrived, and he will be prepared to say goodbye to not only Ciara and Clyde, but Will (Chandler Massey) as well.

“Ben prepares for his execution,” spoilers reveal.

Ben will likely be accepting his fate even though he knows he is innocent and did not kill his sister. But there has been no luck figuring out who did commit the crime. Ciara has come up with a new theory that baby David’s father was the culprit but has had no luck finding him yet. With no potential reprieve in sight, he may realize his time has come.

Meanwhile, even if he isn’t facing the best news, Will is about to get some that is good. Following Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) confession about being the one who really caused Adrienne’s (Judi Evans) death, he will likely be freed because he is innocent. Now, with that in the works, he will be able to reunite with the man he loves—which will serve as a big surprise for his husband, Sonny (Freddie Smith).

“Will has a big surprise for Sonny,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
