She was livid when she learned that Tripp was planning to marry Haley so he could help her stay in the country after she was ordered to leave within 30 days. Now, desperate to keep her man for herself and eliminate the woman she sees as competition, Claire will team up with Eve to get her way on the Thursday, March 28 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) will do whatever it takes to keep Tripp (Lucas Adams) for herself, and has already done unspeakable things to ensure she gets the man she wants on the NBC soap. Not only did she almost kill Ciara (Victoria Konefal) in the first cabin fire, but she also ratted Haley (Thia Megia) out when she was hiding at the loft. That action, in particular, led to Haley being ordered to leave the country and return to China within 30 days. Unfortunately for Claire, it wasn’t the end of her ordeal, as Haley and Tripp then decided to get married, so she can stay in Salem after all.

Now, she is once again teaming up with Eve (Kassie DePaiva) in an effort to expose the plot, knowing that Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) mayoral campaign manager will also stop at nothing to get the young nurse deported, as it will help his bid. Claire immediately refused to expose the truth herself because she knew it would cost her the relationship she is desperate to hold on to, so Eve has since worked her up into a state to start working on a new plan.

“Eve and Caire set into motion a plan to expose Haley,” spoilers reveal.

Eve has convinced Claire that they need to get a secret recording of Tripp and Haley talking about the fake wedding because that will be all that’s needed in order to prove that they are trying to get around the immigration system. However, even as Claire agrees to do it, she may not quite realize that Haley isn’t the only one who will wind up in big trouble.

Because he’s a willing participant at trying to defraud the government, Tripp will also go down if the marriage is exposed as a fake. However, with Claire focused on only one thing, she may not see that until it’s too late.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
