They genuinely despise one another and have never expressed any sort of romantic interest in each other, but an unexpected passionate kiss could change everything for Stefan and Gabi on the Wednesday, March 27 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Stefan (Tyler Christopher) and Gabi (Camilla Banus) have never gotten along, and things certainly didn’t get any better between them when it was revealed Gabi had lied and switched the paternity test results on Abigail’s (Kate Mansi) daughter, allowing Stefan to believe the girl was his when she was really Chad’s (Billy Flynn). Since then on the NBC soap, the two have been forced to work together since DiMera Enterprises owns Gabi Chic, and their battles have been tense. Things got even more heated when Gabi walked in when Stefan was kissing Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), interrupting their steamy moment.

However, another steamy moment will take place in the DiMera Mansion—and this time, the two enemies will be the ones who find themselves locking lips.

“Gabi and Stefan share an unexpected kiss,” spoilers reveal.

The kiss will likely happen when Gabi once again comes over to discuss business and the two potentially get into another heated argument. However, it could also come from a place that deals with Stefan’s jealousy, since he witnessed Brady (Eric Martsolf) also kissing Chloe, and was told by the woman he’s protecting in his home that she can’t possibly consider any romance until she knows the men who are trying to kill her are truly gone and no longer a threat.

Though Stefan seemed to understand where she was coming from and vowed he would bring El Fideo’s men to justice, he may also feel like he’s fighting a losing battle, someplace he’s been before. If his previous love for Abigail’s “Gabby” alter once again surfaces, then the passion he felt for her could ignite as he spars with the real Gabi—leading to the kiss.

Of course, whether the kiss ends with a slap to the face or the two eventually exploring their weird chemistry with one another remains to be seen.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
