The day they’ve been waiting for has arrived and they couldn’t be happier. However, Gabi’s manipulations to make sure Lani couldn’t be with Eli could all come back to haunt her as she prepares to say her I Do’s on the Friday, Feb. 14 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Gabi (Camilla Banus) managed to get the best revenge she could on Lani (Sal Stowers) for shooting and killing Stefan (Brandon Barash) by forcing the other woman to call off her own wedding to Eli (Lamon Archey) a year prior with the threat of blowing up Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) donated heart looming over her. Since then, Gabi has become engaged to Eli as well and even managed to find a way to still control Julie’s pacemaker through an app on her phone—even after it was revealed she needed a new one. Now, it appears nothing will stand in her way as she prepares to become Mrs. Eli Grant—even though Lani is back in town and desperate to stop the whole event.

“Gabi and Eli’s Valentine's Day wedding begins,” spoilers reveal.

However, despite all of her work at trying to keep the situation manipulated, Gabi may not have the success she hopes for when it comes to her grand plans for revenge. Lani has been receiving help from JJ (Casey Moss) when it comes to trying to expose Gabi, and he has promised her that even though he is the best man, he will not let Gabi marry Eli. In addition, he ran into Chris (Chaz Kao) and recognized him—if he can figure out a way to convince him to come clean about helping Gabi with her app, then everything she has done will be exposed before she says I Do—and will effectively end all her plotting.

In addition, there could be other help Lani gets, albeit inadvertently, from her father, Abe (James Reynolds), who will talk to his one-time almost son-in-law prior to the wedding to see if he really is still over the woman he once loved.

“Abe and Eli have a heart-to-heart about Lani,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
