Even though the results of a DNA test revealed that baby Mickey was actually Sarah and Eric’s daughter, Nicole is still suspicious that Xander switched their baby with Kristen and Brady’s and passed her off as the other little girl. Now, she will confront the doctor she thinks was involved in the scheme as she continues seeking answers on the Thursday, April 2 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) became suspicious that something was going on when she saw Xander (Paul Telfer) threatening Dr. Raynor (Victoria Platt), and the woman’s decision to leave Salem before Mickey’s treatments was also perplexing on the NBC soap. After learning of the birthmark on Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) deceased daughter’s neck and seeing a similar one on Mickey, Nicole quickly went to get a secret DNA test done to see if her suspicions that Xander switched the babies to keep Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) from dealing with the devastation her daughter had died, but he managed to bribe the tech, who gave her fake results which indicated Mickey was in fact Sarah and Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) baby, not Brady and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk).

However, Nicole has remained suspicious and feels the DNA test may be a fake. Now, after conferring with Abe (James Reynolds) and learning Dr. Raynor went to New York, she has headed to the city to see if she can get more answers.

“Nicole confronts Dr. Raynor,” spoilers reveal.

However, even if she can get answers from the other woman which prove her theory, Nicole could quickly learn that her secret investigation is going to cause her some more trouble because Eric is also becoming suspicious—this time, that she’s hiding something from him that he should know, despite promising when they got back together that she would no longer keep anything from him.

“Eric realizes Nicole lied to him,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
