A deadly tiger snake was captured after it was found coiled around a pump in a gas station in Melbourne, Australia.

Snake catcher Raymond Hoser received a call about a tiger snake at the Coles Express gas station in Nunawading on Wednesday, Australian news website Nine.com reported. When he arrived at the location, he found the venomous snake had wrapped itself around a gas pump.

"They are deadly, you get bitten by a tiger snake and it's pretty intense… they're quite erratic," he told Nine.com.

Tiger snakes are considered a dangerous species due to their potent venom and aggressive disposition.

"Yes deadly tiger snakes like this ripper specimen have been hitching rides in cars and turning up in weird places this week," Hoser wrote in a Facebook post. It was not clear where the snake was taken after it was removed from the gas station.

In the same post, Hoser mentioned another encounter he had with another deadly species of snake this week. Several copperheads were found in a wall cavity in a Melbourne University building, he wrote.

"Copperheads all over the place, including in some pallets from who knows where. A tree snake hitching a ride down from Queensland, turned up in east Bentleigh (remember the scientific name for that one is Charlepiersonserpens punctulatus), a massive Brown Snake, a Copperhead and a Tiger snake all in Warrandyte at the same time!" he wrote.

In a similar incident, a snake catcher recently removed a huge python from inside the toilet of a house in Queensland, Australia. Luke Huntley from Snake Catcher Noosa shared a video of him removing the snake from the property at Lake Cooroibah.

The snake was originally found in the office area of the house, but was "ushered" down the hallway and into the toilet.

"Today I was called out to a home in Lake Cooroibah to relocate this beautiful big Carpet python from inside their toilet," Huntley wrote on his Facebook page. "The bloke had ushered the snake from the office area down the hall and then locked it in the toilet. What a place to end up."
