It appears Lil Wayne is a single man and his recent endorsement of Donald Trump in the 2020 U.S. presidential election may be the culprit.

For months, the “Uproar” rapper has been said to be dating model Denise Bidot. However, on Tuesday, fans began noticing a change in the couple’s relationship when the two unfollowed one another on social media, TMZ reports.

The issues in their relationship are said to have started last week when Lil Wanye, whose legal name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., shared a photo of himself and President Trump on Twitter.

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership,” his tweet read. “He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

While it is unclear exactly how long the couple had been dating, they have actively shared photos of one another on their Instagram accounts since the summer. Despite their purported split, Lil Wayne still has several pictures of his ex-girlfriend on his account.

As for Bidot, she is believed to have deleted her Instagram after unfollowing the rapper. When a fan asked Bidot why she deleted her page, she gave a simple reply, “Over it.”

Bidot isn’t the only person who is not impressed by the rapper’s political endorsement. Singer John Legend appeared to take a jab at Lil Wayne’s affiliation with Trump during an appearance at a Joe Biden drive-in rally in Philadelphia on Monday.

“Now, some people see the meanness, the bullying, the selfishness of Donald Trump and they mistake it for strength, a kind of twisted masculinity,” Legend said. “Some of your former favorite rappers have been taken in by these lies.”

Votes in the presidential election are still being counted as of 12 p.m. EST Wednesday.
