• The Duskfield grenade sports the lowest cooldown among all Stasis grenades
  • Hunters can use empowered Duskfield grenades that synergize well with Stasis builds
  • When fully built, Hunters will be able to throw grenades every few seconds

“Destiny 2’s” 30th Anniversary update brought some hefty changes to abilities across all classes and sub-classes. While these changes were primarily made with PvP and the upcoming sub-class reworks in mind, the current PvE sandbox in “Destiny 2” was also affected to a certain degree.

Ever since the big patch, a certain build for Revenants has begun to grow in popularity thanks to the sheer utility it can bring to the table in even the most difficult of encounters. Here’s a look at the powerful new Stasis build for Hunters in the pre-“Witch Queen” version of “Destiny 2.”

High-Discipline Duskfield Revenant Build

As the name implies, this build relies on getting 100 Discipline and makes use of the Duskfield grenade from the Hunter’s Stasis sub-class.

Duskfield grenades are extremely potent crowd-control tools in PvE, especially against swarms of melee enemies or Champions in end-game content. The Stasis bubble can slow and eventually freeze everything inside, but Revenants have one trick up their sleeves to make this grenade even stronger.

Here’s what players need to equip for this build to work.

  • Stasis Aspects
    • Touch of Winter
    • Grim Harvest
  • Fragments
    • Whisper of Fissures
    • Whisper of Rending
    • Whisper of Durance
    • Whisper of Shards
  • Mods
    • Elemental Shards
    • Elemental Ordnance
    • Grenade Kickstart
  • Weapon
    • Anything with Demolitionist
    • Ager’s Scepter or Cryosthesia 77k
  • Exotic Armor
    • Fr0st-EE5

How to play the build

The Touch of Winter lets Hunters throw Duskfield grenades that have small Stasis crystals in the middle of their slowing fields. These crystals can be shot with any weapon to cause a strong detonation that can severely damage or outright kill anything they hit.

With 100 Discipline, Whisper of Shards, Elemental Shards, Grenade Kickstart and Fr0st-EE5, players can spam Duskfields very often, allowing them to control large areas at will. Once enemies are frozen, shoot the Stasis crystal to cause a chain reaction of Stasis explosions empowered by Whisper of Fissures.

Ager’s Scepter and Cryosthesia can make this build even more ridiculous at the cost of Whisper of Rending’s usefulness. Legendary weapons with Headstone can serve a similar purpose as well.

Any Kinetic weapon that can roll with the Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie combo is great for this build.
