Modern women have the spa day, and Victorian women had the water cure. Apple TV+’s “Dickinson” will show Emily (Hailee Steinfeld) and her family heading off to a luxurious day of questionable homeopathic treatments, and International Business Times has an exclusive sneak peek from Friday's new episode.

As the poet continues to let editor Sam Bowles (Finn Jones) rule her thoughts, Lavinia (Anna Baryshnikov) can sense something is wrong with her sister. She quickly pushes Emily to tell her what’s happening during their water cure treatments.

Watch IBT's exclusive sneak-peek video from "Dickinson" Season 2, episode 7 below:

“Nothing is going on. Nothing other than a man ruining my life,” Emily declares.

Sam assured Emily last week that he would never betray his wife and left her in the middle of the opera after she held his hand. Now, Emily thinks she may have ruined her chance at being a published poet.

“Emily, you’ve always been completely independent. You’ve turned down marriage proposals. I mean, that’s so brave,” Lavinia says.

Emily isn't so sure, though. “You know, sometimes I wish I had said yes to those marriage proposals. Maybe if I was married with a baby, life would be simpler,” she says.

“That is the craziest [expletive] I’ve ever heard you say,” Lavinia remarks. “We need this water cure to heal you because your aura is negative right now, and I need you to be positive. I need you to be strong.”

Then, Lavinia admits how much she really admires Emily. “You’re my hero,” she tells her sister.

"Dickinson" Season 2, episode 7 will release Friday on Apple TV+.
