The Powerball jackpot will climb to $215 million after no winners resulted from the Monday night drawing. The cash value will be an estimated $112.3 million.

The Monday night winning numbers were 17, 41, 47, 60, and 61, with a red Powerball of 17. The Power Play was 3X. The jackpot was worth an estimated $201 million, with a cash option of $105 million.

Along with no jackpot winners, none of the ticket holders became instant millionaires. Players who would have matched five white balls would have won a $1 million prize while ticket holders who would have hit the Match 5 with the Power Play would have won $2 million.

Although no players picked up million-dollar wins, players across the country won notable prizes following the Monday lottery drawing. Seven players won $50,000 after hitting the Match 4 with the red Powerball. Meanwhile, three players won $150,000 after matching four white balls plus the red Powerball with the 3X Power Play.

The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $4 and $300.

The latest lottery jackpot comes after a player in Rhode Island won $50,000 from the Dec. 21 jackpot. The winning ticket was purchased at the Belmont Marketplace in Wakefield.

Powerball jackpot winners must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination. Five numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

Winners can receive their prize through a lump sum payment or an annuity, which includes one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Powerball tickets are available for purchase in participating territories for $2 each. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot is a 1 in 292.2 million.
