The Powerball jackpot has grown to $134 million after the Monday drawing failed to produce a grand prize winner.

Monday's winning numbers were 16, 31, 50, 55, and 61, with a red Powerball pull of 9. The Power Play was 4X. The jackpot was worth an estimated $124 million with a $66.9 million cash value.

Although there were no jackpot winners, a ticket holder in California became an instant millionaire.

The player hit the Match 5, winning a $1 million prize. If the player would have used a Power Play, they could have increased their winnings to $2 million.

Three players hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball, winning $50,000 each. Meanwhile, only one player matched four numbers plus the Powerball with the Power Play and won a $200,000 prize.

The rest of the winnings from the night ranged between $4 and $400. More than 321,000 players won prizes from the Wednesday drawing, totaling $3.9 million.

The latest jackpot comes as a $2 million winning ticket is set to expire in Indiana. The ticket was purchased for the June 18 drawing at McClure Oil in Russiaville.

The ticket is set to expire Thursday and must be claimed by 4:30 p.m. ET at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office in Indianapolis.

The winning Powerball numbers for June 18 were 10, 19, 40, 45, and 58, with the Powerball of 25.

Powerball tickets can be purchased for $2 each in participating territories. To win the jackpot, players need to match six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination.

Five numbers between 1 and 69 must be selected for the white balls, and a number from 1 to 26 must be selected for the red Powerball.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
