The Powerball drawing on Saturday did not yield any grand prize winners, as the jackpot has grown to an estimated $274 million.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Saturday night were 6, 21, 49, 65, 67, with a red Powerball pull of 18. The PowerPlay was 2X. There were no winners for the $258 million jackpot, but there was one player who became an instant millionaire.

Following the latest Powerball drawing, a player from Maryland won $1 million by hitting the Match 5. If the player would have hit the Match 5 with a Power Play, they could have won $2 million.

A total of 20 players won the Match 4 plus Powerball, winning $50,000. Seven players won the Match 4 plus Powerball with 2X PowerPlay, winning $100,000 each. Other players won prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

On Saturday, the jackpot was estimated at $258 million, with a cash option of $187.4 million. The next Powerball drawing will take place on Wednesday and be worth an estimated $274 million with a cash value of $197.7 million.

The latest drawing comes amid news a Mega Millions player from South Carolina managed to beat the odds and win the lottery twice in a matter of weeks. The lottery player won a $40,000 prize on July 16 and later claimed a $3 million prize on July 27.

“The odds of winning $40,000 playing Mega Millions are 1 in 931,001, and the odds of winning $3 million are about 1 in 13 million,” the South Carolina Education Lottery said in a statement.
