The Powerball drawing Saturday did not result in any grand prize winners for the $169 million jackpot. However, many walked away from the latest drawing with smaller monetary prizes.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on March 13 were 5, 11, 51, 56, 61, with a red Powerball of 2. The Power Play was 2X. The $169 million jackpot had a cash value of $116.1 million.

There were 17 Match 4 plus Powerball winners, which had a payout of $50,000. Meanwhile, there were eight Match 4 winners with a Powerball and Power Play, which had a $100,000 payout.

Other players won prizes between $4 to $200 following the latest drawing.

Since no grand prize winners resulted from the Saturday night drawing, the jackpot has grown to $184 million with a cash value of $125.6 million.

Last month, a man from Albuquerque became an instant millionaire after he claimed his winning ticket for $1 million from the Jan. 23 Powerball drawing.

On Feb. 11, Mr. E. Alakbarov visited a retailer to check his tickets. Although his first ticket wasn’t a winner, his second ticket earned him $7. However, when he checked his last ticket, the retailer told him he would need to go to the lottery headquarters to claim his prize.

Alakbarov went home to look at the lottery website to check his numbers and was left shocked about what he learned.

“At first, I didn’t even realize what was happening. I saw all the zeros and thought I won $1,000,” he explained. “Then, I realized that there were six zeros and it was $1 million!”

Winners have one year from the date of the winning drawing to claim their lottery prizes. The next Powerball drawing takes place Wednesday.
