Khloé Kardashian made it clear on a recent episode of “Kocktails With Khloé” that she’s not a fan of the celibacy “trend” and stirred up a bit of drama for comments she made about Ciara and her boyfriend Russell Wilson publicly announcing they were abstaining from sex. Following the episode, Kardashian took to Twitter to clarify her remarks and deny that she was trying to diss the singer’s choice.

“It’s so frustrating how people misconstrue my words!” she tweeted Thursday night. “I love & adore Ciara! I respect her on so many levels. Was freely discussing my views on celibacy & people twist & turn everything 2create [sic] a feud.”

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star went on to remind viewers what they saw was the “edited version” of the show.

The 31-year-old’s Twitter posts came after she and her “Kocktails With Khloé” guests Cassie and Alec Mapa started discussing people deciding not to have sex in relationships until they are married. After Mapa said Ciara and Wilson “need to be having sex,” Kardashian chimed in: “With all due respect to Ciara, she has a baby. So it’s not like we don’t know if she’s a virgin or not.”

She added, “No one would know about if they weren’t publicly telling us that they are practicing celibacy. So who are you trying to prove this too? Is it a look?”

As previously reported, Ciara and the Seattle Seahawks player have been extremely open about their decision to abstain from sex until marriage. In July, the mother of one told “Access Hollywood Live” that she and Wilson had still not done the deed but admitted that it was tough keeping the vow.

“I think both of us look at each other and we’re like — whew,” she said. “But we take it one day at a time and keep it going with each other, and I’m really enjoying every day that we’re sharing.”
