As the year comes to a close, Google has released its top 50 movies of 2016, and it includes many superhero and action films.

This year’s top movies included superhero movies DeadpoolBatman v Superman, Captain America: Civil War and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens , the 007 flick Spectre , The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 and The Revenant , which took numerous Academy Awards, were among the top 10 films of the years.

Some of the movies came out in 2015, but the list contains the most popular movies on the Google Play store.
