Rapper and hypeman DJ Khaled is allegedly not enthusiastic about his latest album hitting the charts at No. 2 as opposed to No. 1.

DJ Khaled's "Father of Asahd" was beaten out by Tyler The Creator's album "Igor," and according to the New York Post's Page Six, that did not sit well with him. "He stormed into Epic with an entourage," a source said.

And when projections showed his new record looked likely to come in second, the source added, “He was angry and yelling. He threw a temper tantrum."

Ahead of his album release, DJ Khaled used the influence of top artists, including Lil Wayne and Beyoncé, to promote his album, but apparently, it was not enough.

Another source said, "He was furious. There was some nasty stuff said. Publicly, he’s all about ‘positivity,’ but there is a mean side to him that people don’t see...He overhyped the record and blew it up as his biggest album ever."

According to The Blast, the rapper blamed his album coming in at No. 2 on the executives handling his album release. He is also reported to be frustrated by Billboard not considering an approximate 100,000 digital downloads he attained that did apparently did not contribute to the chart numbers.
