Dolly Parton just showed us that there is no time limit to being sexy. The iconic country singer recreated her October 1978 Playboy cover as a birthday treat for her husband, Carl Thomas Dean, who turned 79 Tuesday.

"It's always #HotGirlSummer for my husband, Carl. Happy Birthday my love!" the singer wrote in the caption of the video she posted on Twitter Wednesday.

In the video, Parton could be seen wearing a tight black bustier top. She completed her look with bunny ears and a pink and white neck bow.

"Hey. Today's July 20. It's my husband Carl's birthday, and you're probably wondering why I'm dressed like this. Well, it's for my husband's birthday," the "Forever Country" singer explained in the video.

"Remember sometime back I said I was going to pose on Playboy magazine when I'm 75? Well, I'm 75, and they don't have a magazine anymore, but my husband always loved the original cover of Playboy, so I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy," she shared. "He still thinks I'm a hot chick after 57 years, and I'm not going to try and talk him out of that. I hope you agree. What do you think?"

Playboy published its last print issue in March 2020.

In October, the "Here you come again" singer said she was considering posing for Playboy anew for her 75th birthday.

"Yeah, I just might do it. If I can do it in good taste and we'll do it along with a really good interview inside," she said during a live guest appearance at the "Scott Mills & Chris Stark Show" on Radio 5 as per Page Six.

Parton graced the cover of Playboy in 1978 but did not appear naked inside the spread, according to the report.

The Twitter video continued with Parton presenting Dean a framed photo of the original Playboy cover, which she called "the old Dolly," beside a new photo of her in the sexy bunny outfit or "the new Dolly."

"In the first one … I was kind of a little butterball in that one. Well, I'm string cheese now, but he'll probably think I'm cream cheese, I hope," she said with a wink.

The country music legend ended the video by asking fans if Playboy should pay her for the photoshoot.
