Donald Trump is reportedly melting down as he fears that the press will purposely give coronavirus to him.

The President of the United States is reportedly afraid that coronavirus have spread throughout the White House. Trump reportedly expressed his fears a week ago and was even concerned that the press would purposely make him contract the disease by giving him the virus.

“Last week Trump told aides he’s afraid journalists will try to purposefully contract coronavirus to give it to him on Air Force One, a person close to the administration told me. The source also said Trump has asked the Secret Service to set up a screening program and bar anyone who has a cough from the White House grounds,” Gabriel Sherman of Vanity Fair wrote.

“He’s definitely melting down over this,” an insider added.

Despite Trump’s private concerns and the advice that he should cancel his mass rallies, the POTUS is reportedly not pushing back. A source from the White House said that Trump will continue with his plans.

“He is going to resist until the very last minute. He may take suggestions to stop shaking hands, but in terms of shutting stuff down, his position is: ‘No, I’m not going to do it,’” a former West Wing official said.

Meanwhile, Trump wrongfully blamed Barack Obama’s administration for the coronavirus testing problems that they are currently encountering. According to the POTUS, the former administration limited the abilities of states laboratories, universities and private companies to conduct screenings not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

However, Sen. Lamar Alexander’s aide Taylor Haulsee and Peter Kyriacopoulos, chief policy officer at the Association of Public Health Laboratories, denied it.

According to Haulsee, there was no significant changes in diagnostics. Kyriacopolous added that the Obama administration attempted to pursue regulation of lab-developed tests but was not approved, so nothing changed.

Meanwhile, Trump called the Obama administration the “most corrupt.” The POTUS’ tweet only backfired because online users defended the ex-POTUS, with many saying that Trump is only jealous of Obama.
