Donald Trump Jr. challenged Joe Biden to a debate and Twitter users quickly reacted to it.

President Donald Trump’s son shared a clip of his interview with Jim VandeHei for Axios on Twitter. Donald Jr. said that he was an international businessperson before his father got into the world of politics. However, he hasn’t benefited from his dad’s taxpayer-funded office. On the other hand, when Hunter’s father became the vice president, he went over to Ukraine and made $83,000 a month.

Donald Jr. said that the media is making a false equivalency between them and the Bidens. However, he stressed that they stopped doing new international business deals when Trump won presidency. So, he invited VandeHei to moderate a debate between him and Hunter.

“I challenge Hunter Biden to man up & debate me,” Donald Jr. wrote in the caption. “@JimVandeHei moderates. Hunter releases his tax returns & I release mine. Let's have an open convo about who really profited from their father's public office!”

Donald Jr.’s post received various reactions from online users on Twitter. Many supported Trump’s son, but several also backed Hunter.

“Do it. My money is on Team Trump,” Ryan Moore commented.

“Let’s see, Jr. was a bartender before daddy gave him a job while Hunter Biden was a lawyer at a well-known firm, an adjunct prof at Georgetown U, chairman of the board of World Food Program USA, and CEO of investment firm Rosemont Seneca Advisors,” @kathlee73732050 wrote.

“You have no business qualifications. You only run one because of your father. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden had experience AND qualifications AND was appointed to the Amtrak reform board by George W. Bush and confirmed by the same GOP senators who attack him now,” @AmoneyResists added.

Meanwhile, Trump was accused of being jealous of Barack Obama due to his recent attacks against the ex-POTUS. The president wrote on Twitter that Obama and Joe Biden’s administration was the “most corrupt.” He also wrongfully blamed the Obama administration for the coronavirus testing problems.
