Dr. Dre's wife Nicole Young has filed for divorce, ending their 24 years of marriage, TMZ reported Monday. The rapper has a net worth of $800 million and according to reports, the couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement.

Young filed the legal paperwork citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. Dre and Young got married on May 25, 1996, and have two adult children together: son Truice and daughter Truly.

TMZ reported, citing sources, that no prenuptial agreement exists between the couple and that Young is seeking spousal support. Young, who herself is a lawyer, is being represented by “a high-powered celeb attorney, Samantha Spector,” according to TMZ. Young was previously married to NBA player Sedale Threatt.

The rapper, who is also the founder and CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and was previously co-owner of Death Row Records, has not issued a statement regarding the divorce.

Dre and Young were last seen together in February at the Tom Ford fashion show with their daughter Truly. The same month, Dre talked about his birthday plans that included his wife, during an interview with BigBoyTV.

"I decided to just keep it low-key this time — I’m going to have a few friends over and my wife is going to do a crab boil for me. I love crab. We're just going to kick it, kick it in my backyard," he said at the time.
