“Basketball Wives: LA” star Draya Michele did not issue a statement after her fiancé, Dallas Cowboys star Orlando Scandrick, called off their engagement Tuesday. Not only is their engagement over, but the athlete said their relationship is kaput.

“I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya. In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose,” the professional athlete told TMZ Sports in an official statement. “I am anxious to move on with my life both personally and professionally.” He did not provide the reason he chose to split from his on-again, off-again girlfriend.

Before their breakup, Michele told TMZ sports she and her fiancé were in a good place. Actually, her exact words were that they were “d--- near married.” When the paparazzi said they had Googled the couple's breakup, she said that was the program.

Even though she tried to make it seem like everything in her relationship was fine, the split might not come as a surprise to most people. The couple have had a tumultuous relationship throughout the two years they were together. Here’s just the most recent example: The couple announced their engagement two weeks ago after they had been broken up for a month, VH1 reported.

Some might be confused about Michele’s role on “Basketball Wives: LA” since she is not married to a basketball player, nor has she ever been. The reality star has been on the series since the middle of Season 1, reportedly to help make the show more interesting. She later revealed the father of her son, Kniko, 11, is Orlando Magic player Gilbert Arenas. Before she was on television, Michele, was a stripper.
