Dua Lipa accidentally dropped her microphone while singing and she went on to perform without a mic. The English singer was in Washington D.C. on Wednesday as part of her "Future Nostalgia Tour."

A fan shared a video of the incident on Twitter and captioned it, "Dua lost her mic." In the 45-second clip, the 26-year-old singer can be seen singing "New Rules."

When the background dancers walked around the singer, the mic slipped out of Lipa's hand. The singer searched for the mic for a few seconds but then continued the performance with her dance moves.

Someone from the crew then gave Lipa a mic and she said, "I got way too excited."

Fans had some hilarious reactions to the incident.

One person shared a screenshot of the crew member who gave Lipa another mic.

"You can literally hear the difference between her live singing and the backing vocals when she loses the microphone lol," one user wrote, while another commented, "Cute but what was that high vocal they added as a pre-record to make it sound live."

"Believe me, she doesn't even gonna sing that if her mic was with her they just really added that in there not for her to mimic (if that's what your implying)," another user replied.

The "Future Nostalgia Tour" began on Feb. 9 and it will continue at different locations, including Europe, North America, Oceania, till Nov. 16. The concert was supposed to begin in April 2020 but it was pushed forward due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Following the performance, Lipa flew to New York City. She appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Thursday. She had shared on Instagram a video of her and host Jimmy Fallon dancing together.

"Catch me on @fallontonight !!!" she captioned the post. "@jimmyfallon ANYTHING FOR YOU!!! I'm doing the dance, talking @service95 and there’s even a lil sweeeet surprise! Don't miss."

Lipa will be featured in a spy thriller movie, "Argylle," which is slated to release later this year. The flick will also feature Henry Cavill, John Cena, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Jackson, Bryce Dallas Howard and Catherine O'Hara.
