Facebook Inc. (Nasdaq: FB) is scheduled to report second-quarter earnings on July 24 after the close. It'll be interesting to see if the advertising simplification has helped the social media giant’s bottom line.

U.S. stocks fell on Friday after benchmark equities gauges rose to records the previous day, following disappointing earnings from Google Inc (Nasdaq:GOOG) and Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq:MSFT).

We ran a screen and produced a list of 16 notable companies set to report their earnings on Wednesday, July 24. We've highlighted their expected reporting dates and times, along with analysts' earnings-per-share (fully reported) and revenue estimates from Reuters, as well as the stocks' year-to-date performances.

Wednesday Before Markets Open, or BMO:

Motorola Solutions Inc. (NYSE:MSI) provides mission-critical communication infrastructure, devices, software and services. The company has a market cap of $16.13 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of 73 cents on revenue of $2.13 billion, compared with a profit of 61 cents per share on revenue of $2.15 billion in the year-ago period. Motorola Solutions is trading at around $59.36 a share. So far this year the stock has gained 6.6 percent.

WellPoint Inc. (NYSE:WLP) is a health-benefit company. The company has a market cap of $25.96 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of $2.03 on revenue of $17.89 billion, compared with a profit of $1.94 per share on revenue of $15.17 billion in the year-ago period. WellPoint is trading at around $86.43 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 41.9 percent.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is a producer of cars and trucks. The company has a market capitalization of $66.56 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of 37 cents on revenue of $35.24 billion, compared with a profit of 26 cents per share on revenue of $31.33 billion in the year-ago period. Ford Motor is trading at around $16.93 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 30.7 percent.

PepsiCo, Inc. (NYSE:PEP) is a global food and beverage company. The company has a market capitalization of $133.53 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of $1.19 on revenue of $16.79 billion, compared with a profit of 94 cents per share on revenue of $16.46 billion in the year-ago period. PepsiCo is trading at around $86.44 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 26.3 percent.

The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) is an aerospace company. The company has a market capitalization of $80.66 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of $1.29 on revenue of $20.73 billion, compared with a profit of $1.27 per share on revenue of $20.01 billion in the year-ago period. Boeing is trading at around $106.43 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 40.9 percent.

Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT) is a manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives. The company has a market capitalization of $56.40 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of $1.76 on revenue of $14.97 billion, compared with a profit of $2.54 per share on revenue of $17.37 billion in the year-ago period. Caterpillar is trading at around $85.65 a share. So far this year, the stock has lost 4.3 percent.

New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE:NYCB) is a bank holding company and a producer of multifamily mortgage loans in New York City, with an emphasis on apartment buildings that feature below-market rents. The company has a market capitalization of $6.55 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of 26 cents on revenue of $273.88 million, compared with a profit of 30 cents per share on revenue of $296.66 million in the year-ago period. New York Community Bancorp is trading at around $14.84 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 13.4 percent.

Eli Lilly & Co. (NYSE:LLY) discovers, develops, manufactures and sells pharmaceutical products. The company has a market capitalization of $55.87 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of $1.01 on revenue of $5.83 billion, compared with a profit of 83cents per share on revenue of $5.60 billion in the year-ago period. Eli Lilly is trading at around $49.59 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 0.6 percent.

EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC) and its subsidiaries develops, delivers and supports the information technology industry's range of information infrastructure and virtual infrastructure technologies, solutions and services. The company has a market capitalization of $53.72 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of 31 cents on revenue of $5.61 billion, compared with a profit of 29 cents per share on revenue of $5.31 billion in the year-ago period. EMC is trading at around $25.56 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 1.1 percent.

Radian Group Inc. (NYSE:RDN) is a credit enhancement company with a focus on domestic, first-lien residential mortgage insurance. The company has a market capitalization of $2.27 billion. It's expected to report a loss of 6 cents per share in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2012 on revenue of $203.09 million, compared with a loss of 90 cents per share on revenue of $186.78 million in the year-ago period. Radian Group is trading at around $13.12 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 114.2 percent.

US Airways Group, Inc. (NYSE:LCC) is a holding company whose primary business activity is the operation of a network air carrier. The company has a market capitalization of $2.98 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of $1.51 on revenue of $3.84 billion, compared with a profit of $1.54 per share on revenue of $3.75 billion in the year-ago period. US Airways is trading at around $18.18 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 34.7 percent.

Wednesday After Markets Close, or AMC:

Facebook Inc. (Nasdaq:FB) is engaged in building products to create utility for users, developers and advertisers. The company has a market capitalization of $62.07 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of 9 cents on revenue of $1.62 billion, compared with a loss of 8 cents per share in the year-ago period on revenue of $1.18 billion. Facebook is trading at around $25.70 a share. So far this year, the stock has lost 3.7 percent.

QUALCOMM Inc. (Nasdaq:QCOM) designs, manufactures and markets digital wireless telecommunications products and services based on its code division multiple access (CDMA) technology and other technologies. The company has a market capitalization of $105.92 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 third-quarter EPS of 89 cents on revenue of $6.06 billion, compared with a profit of 69 cents per share on revenue of $4.63 billion in the year-ago period. Qualcomm is trading at around $61.25 a share. So far this year, the stock has lost 0.9 percent.

Visa Inc (NYSE:V) is a global payments technology company that connects consumers, businesses, banks and governments in more than 200 countries and territories to fast, secure and reliable electronic payments. The company has a market capitalization of $123.72 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 third-quarter EPS of $1.80 on revenue of $2.89 billion, compared with a loss of $2.74 per share on revenue of $2.57 billion in the year-ago period. Visa is trading at around $190.41 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 25.6 percent.

Western Digital Corp. (Nasdaq:WDC) is a provider of solutions for the collection, storage, management, protection and use of digital content, including audio and video. The company has a market capitalization of $16.65 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 fourth-quarter EPS of $1.57 on revenue of $3.62 billion, compared with a profit of $2.87 per share on revenue of $4.75 billion in the year-ago period. Western Digital is trading at around $70.05 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 64.4 percent.

LSI Corporation (NYSE:LSI) designs, develops and markets storage and networking semiconductors. The company has a market capitalization of $4.21 billion. It's expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of 3 cents on revenue of $580.71 million, compared with a profit of 10 cents per share on revenue of $659.57 million in the year-ago period. LSI is trading at around $7.66 a share. So far this year, the stock has gained 8.4 percent.
