GamesBeat video games reporter Jeff Grubb retweeted Modecai's message and said, "I'm feeling optimistic about Elden Ring today." Interestingly, Grubb previously mentioned that FromSoftware's upcoming game would not likely appear in this year's Summer Game Fest.

Geoff Keighley, one of the organizers of the Summer Game Fest, retweeted a post from Earthskyscience on Thursday that said, "On June 10, 2021, the rather distant new moon gives us an annular – ring of fire – solar eclipse. A bright annulus, or ring, will surround the moon silhouette."

"Elden Ring" was announced at the E3 2019. This year's Summer Game Fest is expected to feature announcements from various developers and publishers in the game industry. Bandai Namco, the publisher of "Elden Ring," is one of the confirmed companies attending the show. There is a chance that it could announce something related to "Elden Ring."

But there is no official announcement about the game yet. Several reports in the past teased at the possibility of the game showing up at other events but ended up never showing up at all.
