Mia Khalifa and Michele Morrone both did sexy scenes for the purpose of entertainment and the Arab people have shown different responses to them, according to Twitter users.

Khalifa made a name after joining the adult entertainment industry. The ex-porn star was once the most searched artist on Pornhub. Meanwhile, Morrone is an actor, model and singer, who was catapulted to fame after starring in the 2020 erotic and romantic drama "365 Days." According to Twitter users, one was banned in Arab countries while the other was glorified for doing the same thing.

"It's funny because Mia Khalifa a women [sic] got banned from all Arab countries from doing almost the same thing as him whilst he got CERTIFIED for it," one wrote.

"This dude is being celebrated while Mia Khalifa is banned in several middle eastern countries let that sink in," another added.

"They’re honoring him for starring in a porn movie but they’d have Mia Khalifa’s head if she even thought about crossing the borders. Disgusting," @NMahjourian wrote.

Others claimed that Khalifa and Morrone's work should not be compared.

"You really cant compare those 2 tho," one commented.

"The reason mia khalifa was banned was cause she was wearing a hijab in her movie she was literally disrespecting islam," another added.

"He didn't make a sex movie and wearing hijab in it, Mia did," @xswamb wrote.

Meanwhile, a different user said that Khalifa doesn't deserve the support she has been receiving because it’s just a "weird infatuation" that "doesn't make sense." However, the same netizen also doesn't approve of the warm welcome Morrone has been getting in Dubai.

"Some of you have developed a weird infatuation with Mia khalifa and it really doesn't make sense. She contributed to the sexualisation of the hijab and has refused to apologise for it but you're all clapping like seals...make it make sense," @haaaannnnaaa wrote.

"But still I don't know why they're welcoming that actor as if he's a saint," the netizen added in another tweet.

The comparison between Khalifa and Morrone sprang from the latter's visit to Dubai. Morrone visited the country after scoring a brand ambassadorship for a new United Arab Emirates-based concept called HalaHi, Sharjah News reported.

According to Albawaba, he was also honored for his movie "365 Days" even though many consider it as hardcore porn. The outlet added that Morrone's movie received great attention worldwide and generated controversy among the audience due to its erotic scenes.
