K-pop group EXO’s main dancer Lay, will officially be releasing his first mini album on Oct. 28 at 1 a.m. KST (12 p.m. EDT Thursday), SM Entertainment confirmed Friday.

The mini-album “LOSE CONTROL” consists of six songs in Chinese and will release simultaneously in South Korea and China by Xiami Music, a subsidiary of Ali Music Group — music arm of e-commerce giant Alibaba — as well as on major Korean music streaming sites, the management agency said in a statement.

Lay has written, composed and arranged the tracks, which are expected to be reflective of his personal taste in music. The release of the album also marks his official solo debut and music promotions separate from EXO.

The EXO member has already given fans a preview into his upcoming solo album by releasing the pre-release track “What U Do” on Oct. 7. The pop-dance track received great feedback and is currently topping the Xiami Music charts, reaching 1 million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours.

The Chinese national is known for his singing, composing, dancing as well as acting, appearing on Chinese television dramas like “To Be a Better Man” and “The Mystic Nine” earlier this year. He was also seen on the Chinese TV talent show “Star Academy” in 2005, years before he debuted with EXO in 2012.

EXO is a multinational boy band with nine members that released its latest album "Ex'Act" in June. Xiumin, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun are the other members of the band.
